2008 If you'd like to be an Exhibitor: On the left side of this page you can print out an applications and agreement for the 23rd Annual Marin County Senior Information Fair, held Wednesday, October 22nd, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., at the Marin Center Exhibit Hall, 10 Avenue of the Flags, San Rafael. Simply print out and complete the entire two pages, include your check in the full amount, and mail to the indicated address. Our theme this year is "What's Your Game?" It celebrates the passions that make life worthwhile: travel adventures, hobbies and special interests of all kinds, from music and art, to travel, family events, adult education, club activities, sports, dancing, and other pursuits that people enjoy…the possibilities are endless. The only limit when you plan your spectacular booth presentation, is your imagination. Get a discounted registration booth rate when you postmark your application by July 14th, 2008. Applications postmarked after July 14th will pay a higher registration rate. Participation is a true bargain for exhibitors at the North Bay’s largest and most well attended senior event. Fee schedules are listed on the application form. Be sure to include a Business License number or 501(c)3 non profit ID number. Print clearly. You can also link your organization's website to our Fair website, www.marinseniorinformationfair.org for a nominal fee. Sutter VNA & Hospice will offer a Flu Shot Clinic. Booths offering health testing and screenings, demonstrations, hands-on activities and special activities booths will be highlighted on Fair signage, so be sure to tell us about your activity plans. We encourage exhibitors to hand out “useful favors and healthful treats” at their booths. Our always informative and creative exhibitors are the event stars, and will make the 2008 Fair another smash success. The Tam Quilt Guild plans quilting demonstrations in addition to a colorful Quilt Art display. In another area Media artists will display their paintings and drawings and demonstrate their crafts. All-day live entertainment includes music, singing, and dancing to the beat of a Big Band orchestra. Prizes will be awarded. Jan Wahl, popular Bay Area broadcast personality returns once again to emcee the event. Fair publicity includes multi-newspaper advertising, a print and broadcast publicity campaign, 15,000 flyers, a special multi-page insert in Marin Independent Journal newspapers which reach 40,000 households and a newspaper wrapper that reaches an additional 10,000 homes. As always, our exhibitors make the Fair fun and lively with the colorful and imaginative ways they celebrate the theme. We look forward to awarding First, Second and Third Place prizes for the Best Decorated, Most Informative, and Best in Show booths.
