Jan Wahl, Main Stage Emcee
Jan Wahl, Bay Area broadcast personality, mystery fan & Main Stage Emcee introduces the entertainers, honors the many passions we pursue in our lives, shares her stories, gives out clues in an ongoing audience participation trivia quiz with prizes, presents Fair Awards and lots of Special Prizes, and lets fairgoers know about the many special activities going on around the Fair
Main Stage Entertainment
On Stage you'll enjoy demonstrations, dancers, the mystery of magic, singers, music, and Starduster Orchestra provides orchestra music and vocals for listening and ballroom dancing all afternoon. The Main Stage is active from 9AM to 3 PM
“WHODUNIT?” Mystery Trail
Get a clue ... ten of them in fact. Visitors can help solve a mystery at the Fair. Just grab your clue sheet from from the Raffle Table and follow the clues. Be a sleuth and tell us WHODUNIT. The winner will receive a reward.
Quilt Art Show
Enjoy the colorful and creative work of the Mt. Tamalpais Quilt Guild at their Quilt Making Demonstrations. Be sure to catch the creative and colorful Gallery of Quilt Art in the in the Central Hallway area of the Fair, on display for your viewing pleasure from 9 AM to 3 PM.
Pastels, Pencils & Paint - Art Show & Demonstrations
Includes Hands - On Visitor Participation
Artists will be in residence at the Fair all day. They'll be working in acrylics, pastels and pencil on their own works-in-progress. In addition, their completed works will be on display. ● Fair visitors are welcome to try their hand at the various media's under the tutelage of these accomplished artists. Each artist has a favorite focus: portraits, area landscapes, and still lifes. Bernard Healey, an art instructor at the College of Marin and multiple gallery and show exhibitor produces Pastels, Pencils & Paint event at the Senior Fair.
Fitness Frolic & Pole Walking Adventures
We’ll take the mystery out of safe exercising. Fair guests can take part in all kinds of exercise activities, watch demonstrations and even get some one-on-one instruction from a pro. Whether you are seated, standing or moving around, we have an exercise activity at the Fair that will fill the bill.
Computer Corner
If you are clueless about the high tech arts and you want to learn how to use a computer, share your photos, or send and receive emails ... or you are a “Techie” and have some truly advanced questions, the Golden Gate Computer Society will will show you the way around a keyboard.
